Currently all of our shows are through East Valley Saddle Club and located at John Volken Academy. The John Volken Academy address is 26601 S Val Vista Dr. Gilbert, AZ 85298. Dates and times are located in the calendar of this website. 

Welcome to M.R.I. Of Horsemanship. I travel to you and your horse for riding lessons. With over 20 years of horse experience, including local Gymkhanas (barrels), as well as English and Western shows, I take pride in teaching students of all ages how to ride and properly care for their horse. I teach riding, horse care, tacking up and ground lessons. I am not a certified horse trainer, but I do have a wealth of equine knowledge to help the rider and horse understand each other and blend as a team. I teach all ages, instruction can begin with students as young as 2 years old. I customize the lesson to your needs and goals. I encourage my students to attend horse shows with me once a month for Gymkhanas (barrels), English and Western riding. Prior to their first lesson the following is required: 1) Student has helmet available for riding 2) Review and complete all appropriate documents and release waivers.
